Los Angeles | New York | Remote
Have you been trying to find a book ghostwriter or ghostwriting service? Or someone who can help you write a book proposal that catches an agent’s eye? Maybe a ghostwriter for speeches or newspaper columns?
That’s me.
As a ghostwriter for hire, Kit Warchol (founder of Nunc Studio) works with a select number of clients each year on co-writing and ghostwriting projects big and small. She specializes in writing book proposals, editing manuscripts, and helping clients carry their nonfiction and fiction book projects from conception to completion.
Open to working with novice and experienced writers alike, she tailors the process to each client's unique needs, working style, and schedule.
These one-of-a-kind collaborations are affordable and also priceless — because in an AI world, your story deserves to be told in your own words.
Ghostwriting Services
book proposal development
To sell a nonfiction book, you’ll need a full proposal, which pitches the book to a publisher. It’s a tightly edited, beautifully written business plan which explains the book and your plan to sell copies. A book proposal includes a book summary, a chapter-by-chapter outline, a bio explaining why you are the best person to write this book, sample chapters, and marketing elements like comparative titles, an exploration of your personal and professional network, and audience research.
Timing: 8-12 weeks
freelance ghostwriting & co-writing
I offer collaborative writing packages for select writers, experts, and thought leaders who are interested in publishing books of essays, memoirs, cookbooks, and more. I typically work with writers who have already secured an agent or book deal, but I occasionally take on un-agented writers.
This is a deeply hands-on process where you will help to ideate and offer your experience or expertise and turn over the writing to me.
Timing: 3-12 months
book coaching
For new-to-the-game writers who haven’t had formal training or years of experience, writing a book can be a daunting prospect. I work with less experienced writers with big ideas to guide them through the process of writing a cohesive and compelling memoir or fiction manuscript. It’s a high-touch, hands-on process with three phases: ideating and outlining (4 weeks), guided writing (36 weeks), and editing (8 weeks). I provide bi-weekly assignments, offer edits and guidance as we go, and keep the project on track..
Timing: 12 months
manuscript editing
After spending months—if not years—hammering away at a manuscript, it can be easy to lose sight of perspective once you reach the end. I work with writers to provide detailed feedback on completed manuscripts to make them query- or submission-ready.
I provide overarching editorial feedback on plot, structure, characters, pacing, dialogue, pacing, and more. I also drill down into a sentence-by-sentence read, adding line edits and comments, including questions about clarity, continuity, and more.
Timing: 3-6 weeks
miscellaneous ghostwriting
In addition to long-form projects, I offer ongoing freelance ghostwriting for columns, newsletters, and speeches. These projects are determined on a case-by-case basis. For more information on affordable ghostwriting services, contact us!

Our Philosophy
Not everyone is a writer, but everyone has a story to tell.
That’s why professional ghostwriters exist.
A great ghostwriter excels at teasing out your story, steering you in the right direction, and providing feedback that helps you find your voice & audience. They sense when a topic is sensitive, and they help you navigate tricky memories. They know how to weave in your dialect and way of thinking so the final book feels and speaks like you.
